Great introduction card. Pitch black color with a thick three finger head with great retention and leaving lots of laces.
Nice creamy and hop aroma with strong notes of chocolate, bread malt, milk, pepper and earthy hops.
Really bold flavor with notes of cocoa powder, tons of spices, clearly the announced cardamom, vanilla, roasted malts, lots of ashes, heavy earthy hops and dark fruits. Very dry with a long lasting bitter aftertaste, this sure stands to the 90 IBUs announced.
Full body with appropriate carbonation. Alcohol of 9.2% abv doesn’t even come close.
Very good Chilean RIP, I was surprised with its potency. Worth trying if you like the style. Recommendable.
