This is a very different beer. Mostly it tastes like cherrywood smoke. A mouthful of smoke with some carbonation and a mild hop finish. Easy drinking but the smoke flavor is just a bit too dominant. Pours a lasting creamy head and is an opaque black. Lots of lacing. The nose doesn't warn much of the smoke flavor to come, but when you take your first swallow you will wonder where the IPA went.
