I like the look, as it invokes a NE-style IPA in a manner. But the aroma is bland, bland, bland - if you told me this was brewed with melon before I read the label, I wouldn't believe you. It offers a note of generic white bread, and little else. Maybe a kiss of melon shows up? It's hard to tell this is much of a fruit beer. The flavor is the same - bland, boring blonde ale with a touch of melon floating around. There really isn't much to this at all, but at least they didn't overdo the fruit, I guess? It goes down easy with its subtle dryness and somewhat assertive carbonation, but offers little to inspire easy drinking. Put this one in the books: it's another mediocre Jailbreak offering.
