From a can, pours as a clear straw color with a thin pure white head. Aroma is a crisp and vaguely citrusy. Taste is very like of a German-purity style beer in that its tastes are lightly bitter hops, sweet malt, and plentiful crisp carbonation. But there is a bit more with lemon and spice flavors.

My original review follows, but tasting from a different six pack and likely from a different batch, I'm getting a lot of buttery diacetyl notes in aroma and flavor. Much worse beer than my original review. So based on my two samples, YMMV!

Pale and lovely, brilliantly clear. Pours a nice creamy white head with good retention.

Fairly nice noble hype type aroma, Smells like a pilsner. Otherwise clean, nothing weird and not really even much malt aroma.

Nice melding of some malt sweetness and the somewhat spicy hop flavors. Very clean (and I'm drinking this sample slightly too warm). Nice bitterness in the finish. Not overpowering, but enough that you want another sip to start the malty sweetness again. A Pilsner Urquell like beer from a brewery close to me...not a bad thing!

Medium body and medium-high carbonation. Both very in style.

A very classical tasting Czech Pils, clean and super drinkable. Easy choice for me now if I want a Czech Pils - something fresh from the brewery down the street definitely better than a classic that had a long journey from Europe.

Pours a clear, golden color with a soapy white head that leaves chunks of lacing.

Smells of lemon and grassy hops.

Tastes of the grassy hops layered over a nice malt backbone. Hops lead off with notes of lemon and grass. Malts add in with some biscuit and grainy sweetness. Some spicy notes come towards the end and linger through the finish.

Mouthfeel is medium-light with a crisp amount of carbonation.

Overall, this is a nicely done, hop forward pilsner.

Clear, pale yellow. Little head with some lacing. Light cracker malt with grassy hops, mild bitterness.
Light, crisp, refreshing, good summer beer. Like MGD but cleaner, more hops and less skunk.

I'm rating this higher than Port City's Downright Pilsner because it was a hotter day, and because it had a little more hop flavor
