The final iteration of Ephemeral. New England-style DIPA brewed with 7 lbs/bbl of Mosaic.
Appearance: Looks quite pretty. Orange hazy. Nowhere approaching see-through, but not turbid either. White head retains well and leaves nice lacing.
Aroma: Big and bright. Immediately recognizable as Mosaic. Passion fruit, mango, orange citrus, slight hints of floral and resin. Impressive both in quality and intensity.
Taste: Follows the nose, by and large. Strikes a nice balance by not being overly sweet or dry. Sweetness supports mango, citrus, and passion fruit, again. Manages to dry out enough to showcase a hint of resin on the finish. Mango also lingers.
Feel: Mouthfeel on this is basically nailed. Full and silky/soft with a crisp finish. Finish is dry enough to invite another sip.
Overall: Unquestionably the best of this series. Jailbreak would be well served to explore this is as a brewery only or small batch offering more regularly.
