The latest entry in our rotating adjunct “Oats” series, Oats & Toffee & Chocolate & Stuff drinks like a liquid heath bar! Fortunately, this “Oats” iteration never becomes too cloying, thanks in part to a plentiful addition of liquid cacao, thereby providing bittersweet as well as textural balance. Expect a big hit of peanut butter-esque English toffee upfront followed by pleasing milk chocolate sweetness. We like to think of this beer as restrained decadence – cheers!

5 oz pour on tap. Pours a dark brown with a nice creamy head. Aroma and flavor are sweet chocolate and toffee. Super smooth and decadent without being cloying. Impressive beer but 5 oz is about all that I need.

Had on tap at JB. Actually listed as Imperial Oat Milk Stout. Rich dark/black ale with accents of teak and mahogany to light. Rich toffee/chocolate/ creamy dessert beer; beautifully smooth and drinkable despite big ABV. Not overly complex but really not expecting it. Not quite Heath Bar (as advertised)... but a really good one off.
