Poured fom the can into a nonic pint glass.
Interesting and unexpected look for a "hazy" pale ale as advertised. Hazy but not turbid, this is not some sort of NE realm looking brew, but a pale lemon body with a fair bit of clarity if truly hazy. Bleach white head of barely two fingers, has some retention and shampoo like bubbles too. Looks like a pale ale but extremely light bodied but certainly in the realm.
This is an extremely closed nose. I am getting next to nothing on it, not hops at all, nor even a sense of malt presence. I will say it contains no faults, but it's not really providing any sense of the beers character either.
Palate is just rather.. Empty. Faint touches of mild malt and hop flavor. Hits with a simple neutral malt backbone that is supportive, but does not support any distinct flavors or really unique angles. Mild touches on the finish of some herbal hop but also very fleeting. Not even much distinct malt presence, no sweetness, a faint touch of some lemon rind makes some appearance though at least to give the beer some character.
This has to be one of the most neutral beers I have ever had. Luckily some character comes out, but even in the pale ale realm this is not much to get excited about.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
