The fact that samoa cookies reign supreme over the pantheon of Girl Scout cookies is indisputable. We purposefully build the “Oats &” base beer to be able to accept large volumes of adjuncts without appearing cloying on the palate, and we have done that with the latest iteration of the series, Oats & Samoas & Stuff. Utilizing a blend of toasted and regular coconut, caramel, Peruvian cacao nibs, and Tahitian vanilla beans, Oats & Samoas & Stuff appears hauntingly similar to our favorite cookie. This beer is the perfect accompaniment to an early winter campfire; please drink accordingly.

Can dated 11-25-20 into pint glass. Pours a dark brown (SRM 37-38) with a thin tan head. Initial impression is super-sweet chocolate, caramel, vanilla, and a touch of coconut. Borders on being cloyingly sweet but honestly doesn't quite cross that line. Mouthfeel is smooth and oily - has a nice heft to it. Alcohol is very well hidden. Finish is very sweet, but enjoyably so. Overall, this is one of those guilty-pleasure stouts that you have to be in the mood to enjoy. It's a nice snowy evening and there's afire in the fireplace. Ths stout is perfect in that setting.
