Our interpretation of the classic English-style ale is smooth, luscious, and chocolatey. A blend of Maris Otter and Heritage Crystal malts produce a rich flavor and beautiful dark brown color while East Kent Goldings hops create a balanced flavor profile without adding too much bitterness.

6 oz mini-snifter draft pour at Lures Bar & Grille. Pours a light brown with a small off-white head. Aroma and flavor feature caramel/biscuity malt, floral/earthy hops, and light coffee/cocoa/toffee. Perhaps a hint of metallic/mineral taste, but maybe I was imagining that. Mouthfeel is light-bodied and well-carbonated. Overall it's a decent English brown ale but nothing special.
