At the brewery
16 ounce draft pour into a Spiegelau IPA-like glass.
L: Clear, red hued amber, half inch off-white head, foam has medium retention, lively.
S: Faint aroma of caramel malt, hints of sour dough/dark fruit.
T: Balanced to hops, woody and floral, almost no malt sweetness, medium bitterness, floral hops take over the finish.
F: Light body, high carbonation, crisp, has a chalky feel.
O: Just OK, to me it lacks malt character and is more in line with a modern American amber ale.
