Hey Porter is a contemporary American iteration of the English classic robust porter, softened with a hefty proportion of malted oats. Notes of malted milk balls, baking chocolate, and a kiss of caramelized raisin drive the majority of flavor, while the roasted malt provides balance to maintain drinkability. This is a quintessential beer for early autumn!

A dark pour with a decent head that fades, slippery lacing.
Nice roasted malt flavor, pleasant caramel but not too sweet, semisweet bakers chocolate, hints of vanilla, balanced earthy hops help give it a fairly dry and tangy finish and pleasant aftertaste.

12 oz can poured into a snifter at around 55 degrees. Pours an opaque near-black color with a creamy tan head. Aroma and flavor feature deep roasted malts, coffee, bittersweet chocolate, vanilla, and earthy hops. Some caramel as well. Complex, flavorful, and delicious. Mouthfeel is smooth, well-rounded, and full. Just a fantastic regular porter. Great stuff.
