Our take on the true Vienna Lager is a stunning showcase for how malt and hop character can be simultaneously nuanced and complex, all while capturing an incredible level of drinkability.

I really liked this. A great example of hops and malt being balanced in flavor. This beer is very drinkable and I am glad it is available year round.

Poured from the can into a Libby style pilsner glass.
Golden bronze colored body, with just a very faint haze with real nice linear carbonation. Great rich forming three to four finger tall off white head. Good retention with slight cling, and binds well for a good top cap and overall solid look.
Light toasted malts, very clean aroma almost hinting mineral. Light sensing hop and caramel notes, but nothing huge or distinctive. Very solid lager and faint dark hinting aroma.
Palate on first sip is enjoyable. Clean palate almost mineral crisp, but more of a lighter caramel thick note kicks in bringing in just a touch of brown sugar to the palate. Finishes with a nice bite, nearly cookie like sacrificing dryness for sweeter depth, but making for excellent light bitterness to cut through. Faint mineral notes, but again cut out by a very nice controlled caramel sweetness.
This isn't a mind blowing Vienna, but it's a solid well put together one. Very tasty and drinks easily and well.

16 oz draft pour at the brewery. This is an excellent Vienna Lager - smooth, bready malt with a bit of dough and spicy, floral hops. Perfectly balanced, very quaffable. Overall a wonderful style example and the kind of beer you just want more of.

Appearance: Clear amber body, large fast fading off white head, spotty lacing.
Aroma: Crusty bread, floral hops.
Taste: Malty up front while noble hops add some balance. A touch of bitterness in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with decent carbonation. Metallic twist in the finish was a distraction.
Overall: Like a lighter version of an O'Fest.
