Tmavé Pivo or Tmavý Ležák is Czech for dark beer or dark lager respectively, bridging the divide between a dunkel and a schwarzbier. Our rendition of this style is brewed with all Czech ingredients. The Bohemian malt and famous “Zatec” or Saaz hops create a confluence of roasty notes, spicy aromatic hoppiness and a slight caramel sweetness.

5 oz pour on tap at the brewery. Czech Dark Lager is one of my favorite styles, but sadly many recent versions I've had have had a sour twang. Well, not this one. It's bready, with flavors of pumpernickel, coffee, chocolate, and toasty bread, along with spicy noble hops. Mouthfeel is full and moderately carbonated. Delicious stuff.
