Very good, drinkable oatmeal stout! On par with a good oatmeal stout anywhere. Good from start to finish. Excellent cocoa notes, and dry finish. Good choice!

Tap at the brewery
Light fizzy head, decent lacing, basically black

Nose nice creamy oats, cocoa, dark choc, little roasted coffee, fudgey chocolate

Taste nice creamy oats, roasted malt, toasted, coffee, plenty of very dark chocolate, cocoa, fudgey, drier finish, little bitterness

Mouth is creamy, decent carb

My favorite cold weather, dark beer--smooth and creamy, mildly sweet, balanced. Just right for the Pittsburgh winter.

A very solid overall stout. Poured into a pint glass from a freshly bought growler. Not to dry, not to sweet. Chocolate and smoke medium on the nose and pallet. Oats come through but don't dominate. Fairly creamy mouth feel. I'll definitely get another pint and/or growler the next time I'm near the brewery!

A nice robust beer, flavor wise. Tons of molasses on it. Good amount of a roasted and toasted thing going on as well. On the back end there is a bit of a sweet edge. Well, more than a bit. Kind of thin on the body, for me, but I can deal with it. A pretty decent brew and certainly a good cold weather one.
