Poured from pounder can into a nonic pint

A: murky pineapple juice one finger head that compacts quickly to a 1 mm collar and floating islands of tight bubbles.

S: overripe stone fruit, pineapple and some resiny undercurrent.

T: Follows nose and it is a juicy tropical explosion of pineapple and bitter orange and mango, peach.

M: medium bodied, carbonation spot on. Tropical finish with a light dryness. Nice.

O: Super solid hazy IPA. Recommend a try.

An excellent IPA as usual from Hitchhiker. Pours a hazy orange yellow. Powerful hop presence. Aroma a tropical fruit, but those flavors don't match Bane, which is slightly better IMO. There is the faintest hint of nuttiness on the finish - mild and not distracting.

I'm trying this beer at the brewery. It poured a hazy orangish with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had great tropical fruit bouquet. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with tropical fruit presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.

16 oz can

Pours hazy grapefruit orange. White lacing for a head.

Aroma is of citrus and tropical fruit, zest, hemp, and earthy hops.

Flavor is of citrus and zest, cereal malts, and earthy and spice hops.

Medium to light body, light stinging carbonation on the roof of the mouth.

Pretty decent IPA. Flavor is good. Drinks easy. Pretty smooth, would have again.

Pours the ever popular orange juice color, thick head that settles into a small ring. Aroma is fantastic - bursting with ripe melon, mango & guava underscored by some mild earthy notes. However, those earthier flavors are a little too present on the palate - yes, the tropical notes are certainly there, but towards the back of the palate it turns into grass juice, even slight hints of the dreaded green pepper. Still a decent beer but needs better balance.
