Smooth, very smooth; not creamy or hoppy. Froth clings to the glass for hours.
The haziest of hazes H,BoE looks more like an unfiltered Hefeweizen without the German pretense and sees that textured back of the mouth finish right through till the end.

DO NOT read or take the homeboys reviews seriously on this one. This is way below average and way over a priced. Seriously, there is nothing appealing about this beer. Had a hell of a time not during pouring it. There are literally thousands of better choices be warned.

Pours a very hazy pineapple color with a creamy white head that coats the glass. Gorgeous hazy. Big tropical citrus notes on the nose, including pineapple, passion fruit, and mango.
The taste mirrors the nose, and is delicious. The medium, soft mouthfeel fits the beer very well. This is really good.

Very pale yellow. This is their flagship IPA, bit it was too thin and over-carbonated for me. Not a bad beer but not worth going out of your way for.

An amazing Hazy with full flavor at a low 6.6% alcohol content. Hitchhiker Brewing Co. is an underrated up and coming brewery in Pittsburgh. If you like this one I suggest you try the Opposite Bane, they flipped the hop combination to create a similar taste with a smooth finish.

decent hazy but a bit too thin for me. Decent flavor, nose and color but finished a bit lackluster for me.

Hitchhiker Brewing Co. "Bane Of Existence"
16 fl. oz. can coded "06/21/23" and sampled on 08/13/23
$4.25 @ Wegmans, King of Prussia, PA
Notes via stream of consciousness: Is a beer called "Bane OF Existence" supposed to taste good? Is it difficult to brew? Or is it just a name? It's an IPA at 6.6% ABV but that's all the label tells us. It's poured a very hazy light gold body beneath a thumb's width of white foam. The aroma is resinous and citrusy. It's quite resinous really. The citrus is a blend, combining orange and lemon/lime. There's more to it than that but I can't figure it out right now so on the the taste. It's sweetish and far more fruity than the aroma suggests with additional notes beyond the lemon/lime and orange. I'm getting some white grape, peach, passionfruit, mango, and lychee. Given the resinous character of the nose I was expecting a lot of that but there's really just a hint of it. It's not that bitter, nor is there a lot of acidic "hop burn" but it finishes dry enough that you're ready for another sip. It's really a bit of a juice bomb and now I'm really scratching my head thinking about the name "Bane Of Existence" because, at least for me, it's the exact opposite. In the mouth it's medium bodied and smooth with a fair amount of extra proteins and a fine-bubbled, moderate carbonation. The extra proteins remind me that I should have mentioned the malt. To me it seems like a simple grain bill of 2-row barley and flaked oats but there might be something else going on, namely wheat. I definitely taste the oats though, and I love that. All in all for fans of juicy NEIPAs this one's a winner.

From a tap delivered in a clear pint glass it came. It's color is dull and murky blond. There's a solid white head on top. It smells only slightly starchy, mostly of oats, with some citrus-like hoppiness. Everything about the taste is mild. As far as the sweetness of the starches goes, that's a good thing. A little more kick from the hops would be nice, but for the style this is passable. The remarkable things about it are the wonderful glass lacing and how lightly, yet fully, this crosses the palate. This is a very pleasant quaff, but don't expect much IPA taste, as there's little hops and even less malt to be had.

Opaque straw to tan with a tall head of dense white foam leaving thick cobweb lacing on the glass.
Wow that is really smoothly juicy and exceedingly fluffy. That juice (which emulates mango, pineapple, and passion fruit exploding in good measure) is tropical yet delicately spicy with a subtly underlying shortbread malt.
The medium body has a softly tingly carbonation that comes to a semi-dry finish.
