Moderate to vigorous pour yields 1/2 inch off-white, pinkish tan head over a dark mahogany brown body with no lacing. Nose of tart cherries and a bit of oak. Taste of tart cherries with a finish of salt on the tongue at the very end. Good feel for a Gose and overall, a cherry lover's dream. Cheers!

16 oz can
Pours opaque black, dark brown tint of light around the edges. Head is tan and retains as a film.
Smells of tart cherry and berry, citrus, lactic acid and cracker malt.
Tastes of tart cherry and berry, lactic acid, citrus, bread and hint of woody bitterness.
Light to medium body, stinging carbonation on the tongue.
Interesting and reasonably decent gose, a bit boring on the flavor. It's sour with some fruit characteristics, but the fruit doesn't reach the level of a sweetness you would expect and the malt character is a bit stale. This are minor quibbles. It's okay, probably wouldn't have it again but I don't mind drinking it.
