Pours a dark purple-cranberry color with some floaters and churning effervescence hidden beneath two fingers of dense, raspberry-tinted head. Good retention and thick lacing.
Slightly sour aroma with big mixed berry.
Very sweet tasting up front and moderately tart in the finish, again with strong mixed berries throughout. Juicy berry aftertaste (blueberry, raspberry, cranberry).
On the light side of thick bodied with tight carbonation.
Start to finish, this is pretty much exactly what I’m looking for in this genre of beer.
