16oz can poured into a glass
Look - Hazy opaque brassy-gold. Minimal light tan head that disappears quickly. A bit murky.
Smell - Tangy grapefruit, citrus. A touch of orange.
Taste - Follows the nose. Tangy fruit punch citrus (maybe guava) with a backbone of hop bitterness. Maybe some burnt candied orange.
Feel - medium to full bodied. Some sparkling fizzy carbonation.
Overall - I really liked this beer. It’s not overly sweet, but has some tangy citrusy sweetness in the forefront. There’s a bitterness behind the tanginess, and the mouthfeel is full but somewhat fizzy and bright. I’d say more a double than a triple, but that’s nitpicking. This is full-flavored and enjoyable!

Dated 10/23/24, into a wide wine glass. Review will reflect about 3 months' age on the can.

Pours a deep, hazy orange with a lovely white head, Aroma is grapefruit and mango, some tropical fruit, and some alcohol as well. Seems to be very boozy. Flavor is pretty standard for the hop bill but wow is it strong. Starts off with grapefruit and mango before morphing into heavy tropical fruit and white gummy bears, and then finishing bittersweet. Mouthfeel is good, but it's very full bodied. Not a ton of malt sweetness here and a little much on the alcohol. Still, interesting, and reminiscent of the 3Floyds Imperial IPAs.

Canned on: ?????

A - Opaque golden tan color with dense white lacing.

S - Tropical fruit, peach, melon, passion fruit, and some grapefruit.

T - Peach, lime, passion fruit, some melon, some very light tropical fruit, and ends with some pine bitterness mixed in.

M - Soft and chewy texture with a little bit of alcohol presence.

O - Pretty decent but would be nice if there was a date stamp on these cans.

Like its older sister, this is also opaque, but of a darker tan that's closer to orange-ish under a dense white head that settles to a soft but thin blanket leaving finely spongy sheeting on the glass.

Both juicier yet more assertive than Bane, this is closer to a cocktail with some Cointreau or even hints of Campari, while still tropical. The malt is obviously slightly toastier in amping up the horsepower while also coming with a little more booze, though that's well integrated.

The medium body is slightly less fluffy but still soft before coming to a semi-dry bite in the swallow.

I expected to enjoy such a jump in ABV much less than I did. Having it side by side regular Bane, I had a hard time deciding which one I actually preferred, though the differences are easily discernible.
