Copenhagen 25/8 2018. 33 cl bottle from Rewe in Kiel. Serious looking label telling me this is a German smoke beer and a cute little tagline “A clever one always goes”. As "Klüvers Röker".
Pours hazy orange with fairly big white head. Stable. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate Lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of sweet malts followed by a quite distinct smoky scent. Light caramel and fruit playing in the background thereby avoiding the ashtray vibe.
Fairly strong carbonation. Thin, watery and lively texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a weaker bitterness. Aftertaste is fairly neutral bordering on the non existent.
Light weight Smoke beer. Easy to drink and easy to forget.
