Clear, ruby-chestnut brown in color with a small, foamy, fairly persistent, slightly pointed, white-beige head. Roasty, spicy, malty aroma, a hint of caramel, brown bread, and a subtle fruity note of cherry. The palate is slightly sweet, fruity-hoppy, and fruity-yeasty.

Flensborg 6/4 2022. 33 cl bottle from Das Kleine Restaurant, Große Str., Flensborg. Black label with a red rim and the logo of the brewery in grey.
Pours clear dark amber with a small off-white head. Stable. Settles as a thin layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty and toasted odor. Caramel, toffee and hints of brown sugar. Toasted bread.
Low carbonation. Thin, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet. Lingers for a bit. Finish is flat and sweet.
Very much on the sweet and flat side.
