A:
Pours a crystal clear golden copper color with a big-bubbled, active beige head that never amounts to much more that a spotty film. Okay retention; lots of nice, stringy lacing.
S:
Sweet citrus bomb. Candi sugar, grapefruit/lemon rind, tropical fruits, some fleeting caramel malt notes underneath.
T:
Sweet and vaguely earthy. Lots of bitter orange, grapefruit, lemon, white pepper, and brown sugar.
M:
Medium bodied with a sticky, coating palate and good crisp carbonation.
O:
Very good IPA.
This is a very sweet IPA with lots of citrus and the tiniest hint of a caramely malt backbone. Pours pretty nice and features an extremely fruity nose. The beer tastes very sweet and resinous and gives you a lingering hop-fueled tingle by way of a very dry aftertaste.
Would have again; worth trying if in Laramie (which probably isn't likely...).
