A:
Pours a hazy honey-gold with a decent pristine white head that goes from one finger to a healthy film. Good retention; decent lacing.
S:
Not too much going on. Cereal and sharp pine aromas.
T:
Piney and dry. Cereal malt flavors underlying a bunch of pine, dirt, pith, and slightly herbal flavors.
M:
Thin, dry, prickly. Light to medium body, nice lingering hoppy tingle. Very drinkable.
O:
Pretty tasty IPA.
This beer is basically (to me) a low ABV APA. It is pretty hoppy but not overpoweringly so and is nice looking (one of the nicer looking ones I have had). The nose is pleasant but not overly busy, complex, or revealing of the flavor. The beer drinks well and is certainly sessionable. After this beer I would say that hoppy beers are likely TAP's strong suit.
Would have again; worth trying.
