The one I'm drinking is batch XXXVI.
Pours a slightly hazy gold, nice looking head of foam, good lacing.
Smells bitter. Grapefruit, some dankness, again smells bitter and hoppy.
Grapefruit citrus bitterness, hints of tropical fruit, cracker malt, finish is decidedly bitter.
Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Good but in the one and done camp.

a rotating series of beers that features different hops in each batch. i got into batch 34 when i was in, a fruity and tropical complexion in a beer that was quite well made. not sure how much the base beer differs with each round, as this is the only one i have had so far, but i think its a cool idea to have a constantly rotating hop experience at the brewery, rather than the same old bag of tricks each time. there is a little haze to this one and a deeper shade of golden, a huge white head from the tap sits on top awhile and only slowly fades. aroma is reminiscent of mosaic to me, but not quite, pineapple notes for sure, some juicy ripe fruity punch flavors, with sweet lemon as well, perhaps a bit of a southern hemisphere hop complexion, and the taste is real similar, maybe a slight pop of passion fruit, and my mouth waters from sip to sip, this is incredibly fresh as well. there is just a touch of overhopped green bite to the end of this, but it sort of comes in the place where bitterness would be in a more west coast style, so its not way out of place or anything. medium bodied, soft feeling, good carbonation, lingering summery fruit vibes. solid overall, id love to know more about the hops specifically, and to dip into some other beers in this series!
