From tap into brandy snifter at Last Best 5/7/15 (from notes)
A murky dark amber top filled glass has a finger of tan foam and leaves lots of random lace after a single thick ring
S lots of tropical hops, melon, mango, guava, candied pineapple, jujubes and a hint of spruce, not overly complex but plenty of intensity
T some pine and lime rind, not the tropical flesh the nose had going for it but still tastes great
M palate wrecking bitterness, medium full, bubbles come out of nowhere, slick on the palate, a little sticky on the lips, booze is well concealed, rind finish just keeps
going
O solid DIPA from a local source that I'm not all that familiar with, even at 115 its not a total hop runaway but its close
I've now had two hop bombs from these guys and both were solid brews, perhaps I should be paying more attention to these guys
