On tap at Last Best.
Crystal clean gold color with a finger of white head.
Minimal aroma... but might be my sinuses.
Not a lot of hops on the palate. Subtle oat flavor makes it smooth but malty. Tiny rye finish (might miss it if you didn't know to search for it).
Overall a non- offending, mediocre beer.

64oz. growler fill from Oak & Vine in Calgary; sat a day in the fridge before being opened, and might have suffered a bit from flatness (keg seems to have bee pretty overcarbonated).
Nevertheless, Faster Horses reads like a younger brother to Show Pony; colour is gold; not much head on my pour, nor much lacing (but, again, see above).
Smells light--nice hop presence, not dissimilar from Show Pony, but milder, and some more malt/grain stuff going on here--if you didn't tell me oats and rye were involved in the affair, I'd never be able to tell, but there is a slightly gritty graininess. Light flavour, with some citrus flavors and a bit of dankness. Low carbonation, nice body--bigger than its relatively low ABV.
Enjoyable, ultimately, but insubstantial--and if you're going to throw oats and rye into the mash, at least make 'em noticeable, eh?
