Poured from a howler purchased at ABX.
Appearance - Pours a clear gold with four fingers of dense foamy white head.
Smell - citrus, tropical, floral, and hint of piney hops, peach, mango, citrus peel, hint of pine resin, hint of grapefruit peel, bready malts, caramel, and earthy yeast.
Taste - citrus, tropical, floral, and hint of piney hops upfront although they are quite mild in my opinion. The peach, mango, citrus peel, hint of pine resin, and hint of grapefruit peel are there but again are quite mild. The brew is rounded out by the bready malts, caramel, and earthy yeast.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops and fruits lingering.
Overall - A brew that started off well but fell a bit flat in the taste. I was hoping for more oomph from the hops and fruits.
