Pours a hazy straw yellow with a fairly thick white head. Aroma is strong and rich, wheaty and yeasty with a definite fruity undertone, not all citrus. Flavor is classic hefeweizen, wheaty and malty with a definite citrus undertone, very refreshing. This is one of the best hefes I have ever had - glad that I gave it a chance. Texture is silky-smooth and just a little tingly. Recommended, especially to hefeweizen fans.

Very active on the pour, bubbling away at 40 mph. Soft-looking foamed milk top that doesn't go away. Silver and gold, silver and gold color; less than clear this beer.
I always look forward to the smells of Ginga beers. Banana and citrus, not too sweet. Hops lurking in the background.
Taste is like a wit beer, and little towards the tangy side. Dies (too) quickly and leaves a banana aftertaste. Also had a sensation of olives.
Tastes healthy: a thick, wholesome mouthful. Exploding softness of the carbonation. Very drinkable. Less sweet than other Ginga beers, with a less forceful taste. Perhaps the most drinkable Ginga I've had. And the small, classic half-cans are great.
