Galaxy So Mosaic - Triple Crossing
DIPA - 8% abv
Canned 3/8/18 (21 days ago)
L - 2-finger offwhite head atop a murky orange body.
S - citrus, pineapple, sweet candy.
T - melon and pineapple to start. Some pine and malt sweetness follow. Some citrus but this is more about the tropical fruit. Medium sweetness, minimal bitterness, zero booziness.
F - medium body, low carb.
O - sublimely well balanced DIPA with absolutely no faults. Crazy to think this is 8%.

Received as an extra in a trade. Canned on 3/8/18
A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a nice super hazy/murky orange juice hue with a big fat creamy two finger head that fades nice and slowly to leave lots of sticky lacing and a big creamy blanket.
S - Aromas of dank pungent citrus, tangerine, orange peel, little bit of mango and over ripe pineapple, flash of grapefruit and just a little bit of earthiness.
T - Taste is similar to the nose. More of the dank citrus notes, orange and bitter grapefruit. Tropical fruits are a bit lighter but still there with just a bit of mango and maybe even some passion fruit. Possibly even a little peach as well. Finish definitely has some earthy pine spice going on but it actually works here. Finish is lingering bitterness. Alcohol hidden completely.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, little fluffy with a medium body. Alcohol hidden completely.
O - Overall this was a shockingly good DIPA. Stellar appearance and mouthfeel, really nice showcase of Galaxy and good quality Mosaic hops. Seems to be rare now that Mosaic actually works in harmony but this one pulls it off spectacularily. Awesome, would love to have this one again.

Bought on Monday 12th of March at downtown brewpub of Triple Crossing! Bottom of can indicates 3/08/18! Super Fresh! 4 pack of cans $17+Tax. Beautiful aroma from the Galaxy and Mosaic Hops ! Nice lacing on glass! At first good but with each sip got better and better! Smooth and creamy with no presence of the alcohol! Very Very Crushable and one I would go to again again! Maybe not there best but close! Thanks TCB and again everyone behind the counter were great!! SEH Enjoy great beers!

16 oz can dated 5/18/17. Poured into Behind the Veil Teku glass.
L: 2F head, not much retention. Spotty white lacing, thin ring. Beer is a hazy orange bronze.
S: Just classic Galaxy and Mosaic smells of pineapple, mango, orange, and grapefruit with earthy pine and dankness on the back end. Textbook, really.
T: Follows nose with blended tropical and citrus fruit flavors, light malts, and a nice earthy finish
F: Medium bodied, quite creamy and toothy. Light carbonation. Construction and balance very good.
O: I'm a sucker for fresh Galaxy and Mosaic, so this is an easy win for me.
