Pours a light hazy yellow golden color with a nice head and lacing
Aroma has nice tropical, hop and citrus hints
The taste follows the nose with a pleasant well balanced tropical, hop and citrus flavor
A medium bodied well carbonated beer
A good IPA

This is one of the worst looking hazy IPAs I have ever seen. In terms of murkiness, I think that this would put the batch of Vicinity that the Alstrom brothers hated to shame. It is ugly. That’s not where it’s troubles end. Yes there is some citrus character, but it revolves into a vegetal burden of celery and raw fennel that just overpowers and destroys and semblance of joy in this beer. I have at least liked everything I’ve had from Triple Crossing, but this is awful.

Presentation: 16 oz. can with the canning date printed on the bottom. Served in a Sensorik Glass.
Appearance: The one and a half finger head stays around for a very long time and leaves behind a thin foam ring that stays until the end and lots of lacing in rings and patches all over the glass. It's a bright, murky straw color.
Smell: A very aromatic, beautiful hop scent hits the nose right away and stays throughout with the strong, hop oil pine note starting things out. As the beer settles, a plethora of fruit aromas emerge. There's orange, lemon, pineapple, papaya and even a soft flowery smell to mellow things out towards the end.
Taste: It's a a juicy, tropical fruit bomb at first. There's pineapple, grapefruit, lemon, orange, papaya and refined sugar. It finishes with a slightly bitter, piney, hop resin taste that coats the palate entirely.
Mouthfeel: It's smooth, creamy, very refreshing and medium bodied with a crisp, medium-high carbonation bite. There's no chalkiness and it doesn't get cloying either.
Overall: A fantastic beer with a strong, hoppy perfume aroma, fruity flavor and creamy body.
