Imperial Stout with Blanchard's Coffee Roasting Co. Hand Shake Blend coffee and cacao nibs nibs. This super complex and chewy stout has notes of German chocolate fudge cake, chocolate tiramisu with a dusting of brown sugar.

Dark, opaque brown, with a subtle head that fades and hides near the walls of the glass. Mostly cacao on the nose, in an almost fruit sense, and very inviting. Flavor a little more dark and roasty, with the coffee and malt coming through clearer. Body is thick, rich, and chewy, like I always hope my stouts will be. Excellent beer.

Poured into a snifter. An opaque dark brown color with a medium sized dark tan head. Rich chocolate aroma with a hint of roasted coffee and malt. The taste followed. This was thick and chewy. Smooth chocolate that melded with the coffee nicely. A floral hop presence was there at the end, rounding things out. Full bodied and smooth. Outstanding.

On the sweeter side. Nice chocolatey taste. Good mouth feel.
