Soft, full-bodied IPA with low alcohol and bitterness. Aggressively hopped with Mosaic.

16oz can from Rich. Hazy orange golden pour, thin creamy head, lacing. Bready, citrus aroma. Taste is smooth, zesty, light citrus, mild sweetness, dry. Excellent mouthfeel. Wonderful stuff!

32 ounce crowler in a stemmed tulip glass.

Hazy light fruit juice appearance, yellowish. A gentle pour from the can generates a 1F solid white cap. Quick fade, spray lacing.

A quick hop punch. Fruit punch, that is. Some citrus and fresh dough. Juicy.

Pineapple, mango, something from the orange family, and more citrus. The dough dries to a light biscuit.

Light, smooth drink friendly. Creamy sherbet with a hop bite. Juicy.

Generally, I find that NEIPAs suck. This one doesn't.

A: super hazy mix of pale orange and light yellow. Fluffy, 1 finger off-white head

S: passionfruit, mango, creamsicle, pineapple, apricot. Sweet citrus and a touch of sweet caramel. Slightly earthy towards the end with some bready biscuity notes

T: pineapple, creamsicle, mango, sweet grapefruit upfront. Slight onion/garlic hop hit behind that. Sweet orange and lemon behind that, with a hint of pepper. A touch of alcohol tinge towards the end with cracker

M: slightly fluffy mouthfeel with very low carbonation

O: pretty good NEIPA here. The aftertaste is a bit odd, but not to the point where it’s too detrimental

On tap, a pungent pop of classic mosaic, specifically tropical, citrus dankness.

CAN
Milky goldenrod with high foam; a pile of mango with some scallions + tangerine; snap wheat then canned oranges, even more mango, some mellow ganga, dried apricot, touch of cat, and herbal finish; long, humming oily linger with low bitterness.

5 weeks to the day from canning. A bit darker than most, which raises oxidation concerns. But the most fresh cut mango scent I’ve ever gotten from a Mosaic beer. That carries through to the taste, which is not showy but has enough other tones to let you know it’s quality. Not a showstopper, just an easy drinking, well made, moderate strength true NEIPA.
