Crowler is dated 9/28, pours deep black with thin mocha head of fine bubbles.
Nose is primarily coffee, some green pepper which I would expect of coffee stouts with much more age on them. Also notes of brown sugar.
Taste is coffee, dark chocolate, molasses, glazed donuts.
Mouthfeel is medium-heavy. No heat, great given the 10%.
Overall I enjoy this beer quite a bit, though the green pepper is a big turn off for me. The balance between bitter and sweet notes are also nicely done.
