Invoking exactly where our imperial stout and other purpose built beers lay to rest, the Deep Dark Woods series is both literally and figuratively the embodiment of our approach to spirit barrel aged beers.

A grist of both simplicity and nuance, mashed and fermented with process choices gleaned from extensive self reflection and finally ensuring that the beers have ample time to rest deeply within the charred dark wood they call home for often more than a year.

Blend 1 was conditioned on our in house processed coconut and cacao nibs after its lengthy rest in whiskey soaked charred oak barrels. We taste notes of German chocolate cake, dark chocolate covered cherries, and burnt caramel layered over a full on decadent finish.
