Our ever experimental and rotating DIPA Green Dreams, returns today. Hopped with serious amounts of Mosaic and Amarillo, and a few other experimental varietals. Brewed with our venerable house ale strain, we detect notes of green mango, sweet bright pink grapefruit, tangerine citrus zest, and soft candied peach and apricot.
It’s not often we hop these beers with more than just a couple varietals, but the interplay of various hops and the format in which their processed are part of our ongoing need to make the best possible hoppy beer we can.

A: Pours a murky pale to medium golden honey in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate peach + apricot + medium golden yellow + bright orange + burnt orange + bright yellow colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense creamy sudsy foamy bright white head that slowly reduces to a large patch of thick film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy citrus/tangerine + tropical/mango + citrus/grapefruit + stone fruit/peach + stone fruit/apricot + tropical/pineapple hops over the top of moderate aromas of biscuit + toasted + caramel + pale + oat malts with a moderate amount of caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of biscuit + toasted + caramel + pale + oat malts with a moderate amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by just shy of strong flavors of juicy citrus/tangerine + tropical/mango + citrus/grapefruit + stone fruit/peach + stone fruit/apricot + tropical/pineapple hops which impart a light amount of bitterness as well as a light amount of hop burn which fades away fairly quickly leaving moderate lingering tropical + citrus + stone fruit hop flavors.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly creamy with a moderate amount of soft/fluffiness mid-body and a hint of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol (especially considering the strength) and a pleasantly soft mouthfeel. Enjoyable with some really nice hop combinations and definitely worth grabbing.
