prominent bourbon producers, and then patiently waited. After 20 months or so, upon sampling all the barrels from that batch, we knew these two were destined for greatness on their own, stripped down, with all of their complexity derived from the simplicity of our beautifully fermented stout aged on whiskey-soaked oak.
We taste impressions of, but not limited to, special dark cocoa powder covered raisins, deeply burnt dark brown sugar, raw honey, sweet leathery tobacco, almost wispy campfire smoke roast and marshmallow vanilla filling.

From the stout base to the barrels, this was perfection. Love the use of High West barrels on this one. Barre character is unique and really makes this beer shine.
