Poured from a 12 oz can into a tulip glass. Dark copper color with a touch of haze. Moderate off-white head at first, but it disappears quickly. Strong aromas of warm malt, such as brown sugar and raisins, with a bit of noble hops spiciness. The noble hops come through more strongly in the flavors, although the malt remains prominent as well. Medium body with low carbonation. Low to medium hops bitterness and no alcohol presence; off-dry finish. A very enjoyable beer, but I think the sweet malt notes are a bit higher than they would be in the original style.
