I'm a big fan of breweries delving into the lower ABV, distinctly single IPA, high abv pale ale range. Triple Crossing does this well, especially with its Triangles series. This beer pours a pale golden with white head. Not getting much aroma. Maybe some tropical gummy candy. This is a tad bit underwhelming. There's a touch of Dole pineapple which gives way to an oaty finish. It's not bad, but it just doesn't shine.
My second can was much more vibrant with pineapple character. More integrated, less disparate.
