Good oatmeal stout with the addition of local wild rosemary (Circeo area, Latina, Italy).
Soft and creamy foam.
Impenetrable black color.
Spices and toasted notes on the nose.
Very smooth body.
In the mouth toasted notes and spices prevail.
in the gustatory path also a slightly sweet note.
Honestly, if I were not aware of it, I would not recognize the contribution of rosemary (and I know this herb well): very camouflaged, it does not stand out.
Better at the pump than in the bottle where I happened to hear a more evident "ferrous" note (perhaps oxidation?)
Overall a beer that will not leave an indelible memory, but certainly drinkable and pleasant as an aperitif or for a non-binding drink.
