A lightly soured Robust Porter, with Colombian panela (unrefined sugar), aged in Rioja red wine barrels. This yields a rich Porter backbone, strongly influenced by red wine and wood, and restrained sourness like a Flemish Red Ale. A collaboration with Beancurdturtle Brewing LLC.

blew on opening.... ultra foamy. smell is now everywhere, of course.
taste is sweet and a little sour. some wood, some grape. some sour, but not from the usual accomplices.... abv is subdued, easy going, easy to enjoy. reminds me of many of the Cismontane brews. maybe Daniel can align himself with their philosophy and we can produce some local stuff, more readily available......?
