A traditional bitter with aromatic notes of spice and hop resin. A rich buttery biscuit flavour from the malt dissipates to a clean bitter with notes of dry fruit and toffee. Named after the village in Carmarthenshire where we first brewed, this well-balanced cwrw (beer) manages to pack a punch whilst remaining thoroughly drinkable.

Turning up in a bottle in Home Bargains will help to get a rating it seems...

Amber colour, pours with a decent head, smells of raisins and a bit grassy perhaps. A fairly well balanced bitter: sweet to start, a hint of spiciness and then a pleasant but by no means potent metallic bitterness to finish.

Bottle conditioned. Light to mid amber. Scummy white head.
A light aroma of toffee malt with grass and hedgerow hops. A bit of diacetyl.
Taste as per smell. Quite bitter.
Soft carbonation. Middling body.
Run of the mill.
