In honour of the coal-mine canaries who made the ultimate sacrifice we brewed this punchy West Coast IPA.
Heavy hop doses bring bitterness, pine and a dry refreshing finish -- our liquid eulogy is a knockout.

Bottle conditioned. Clear amber with a wispy head. Some sticky lacing.
A strong caramel toffee like aroma with fruity hops. Hints of diacetyl.
The hops become more advanced upon tasting providing a resin bitter finish.
Medium body and carbonation. Quite dry.
The lack of new world hop flavour inclines this towards a new wave UK IPA and the malt gives it a WCPA.

440 ml can, as Glamorgan Dead Canary India Pale Ale, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.0%. Clear copper colour, moderate white head. Distinct aroma of toffee and dark berries. Flavour with the same elements, also distinct citric, herbal and earthy hops. Nice beer.
