Don’t expect tongue-splitting bitterness with Lancelot. Hop flavor and aroma is the focus of this west coast style IPA. We use mass amounts of Summit, Simcoe, Apollo, Citra, Mosaic, and a New Zealand hop called Motueka.

Draft poured into a Pilsner.
A: hazy yellow with thick white head and sea foam lacing
S: mild to moderate hops, light grain aroma
T: mild hops but absence of citrus, a bit disappointing, does not have the bite of an IPA that I was expecting
M: enjoyable, moderate carbonation
I: disappointing, but worth a try for those who don’t like IPA’s

On tap at House of Pendragon
A: Pours golden yellow with a frothy off whit head that settles to a nice layer and laces very well.
S: Big tropical fruit, some dank herbal notes, pine, citrus, and a little light caramel sweetness.
T: Citrus, lemon and grapefruit zest, pine, tropical notes, pineapple and mango, some light herbal notes, and a little light caramel sweetness.
M: A bit on the lighter end of medium body, moderate carbonation. Very drinkable for 7%
O: Definitely one of the top local IPAs in my neck of the woods.
