On-tap. Snifter glass @ II L´Hospitalet Artisan Fair 2014. Very dark amber color & ruby tints to the light. Tan head shows fairly good retention despite its high ABV profile. Smooth flavors & aromas display involving muscatel raisin notes & dark fruit on the backside. Medium body. Soft carbonation. Texture is dense & sugary but it is not cloying since it becomes slightly watery in the middle, then subtle hues of wine & wood arise & balance sweet flavors while allow hops to be shown into a bitter finish. Nice spot of American Barley wine even though is far away from usual insane hoppy of others. Flavorful & delightful brew.
