Not sure why this is listed at retired - maybe it was retired and then recently brought back? I had it on tap at the Alibi Room in Vancouver.
Served up in a pint glass. Deep hazy brown, like murky hot chocolate. Nice tan head. Nose is gentle, simple malt. Taste is too sweet, like sugar malt syrup. Mouthfeel is a little watery.

This is a decent stout that has some real body to it with a nice coffee mouthfeel. Food friendly and well constructed this beer is another good offering from Spinnakers. Order a pale ale and make yourself a black and tan. Not at the same level as Crannog Back Hand of God Stout but still a very nice pint.
