Our lightest beer, Doc's is a classic English style session beer, brewed with English Pale and a touch of Crystal Malt, lightly hopped with English Kent Goldings for a light delicate finish.

Very good cask. That they had two casks of the three on was a plus. At the brewpub in Victoria. Lacey, very drinkable. Light mouthfeel, a natural carbonation messaging the soft parts. Served at the right temperature.Cascade hops, that come through at piney.

A long awaited stop was well worth the "haze gray" boat ride.

A: Sampled in one of their 4.5oz samplers the deep yellow to golden color carried little to no head.

S: The nose was a very mild citrous aroma, discreet of a mild pale.

T: The taste caught my attention with those discreet hops of citrous and served at cool to room temperature, this man knows how to serve his beers.

M: I enjoyed a very well balanced ale that was perfect even to quench my thirst after a hot afternoon bicycle ride.

D: This pale ale I would enjoy many of at a low ABV.

My friend and I walked into Spinnakers in full cycling gear (spandex and cycling shoes click clacking all the way). This was a great post bike ride ale.

Double elbows up,
Adam

Sampled at the brewpub (5 oz).

A: Looks more like a blonde than a pale ale. It's clear yellow, with some head and lace.

S: Slight bready malt, with a faint citrous odour from the British hops.

T: Well balanced, bready malt, slight citrous from the British hops.

M: Light body is creamy, carbonation is light (as expected).

D: Quite good.

Yummy. Nice amber colour with a good malt smell. Taste is light, delicate but delicious. Nice blend of malt and hops.

Feels a bit light on the mouth, but the low ABV makes this a good session brew.

Spinnakers once again delivers, providing another tasty BC brew. Its too bad more of their stuff isn't available throug the liquor store.
