Well I see this hasn't been reviewed i sometime so I'm excited to offer my findings! BTW this is very much available....
A- Greeted by a super white coloured head that starts off around two fingers in thickness, and eventually settles to a solid half finger layer that maintains itself, becoming ever more frothy as it calms down, and lingers ever so gently! The brew itself is super clear, golden in coloration and the carbonation looks to be plentiful, and aggressive in nature. The lacing is sticky, clinging to the inside of the tulip very nicely....a nice looking Tripel!
S- This has the aromas of a mild Triple......booze, malt, and a spice profile that is peppery take over the senses in a fine fashion. I get some fruit, like ripe apple....almost overripe, winey....like champagne or a Prosecco sparkling wine.....the malt is sweet like caramel and dried fruits....not quite to a proper Belgian made brew but overall an impressive smelling beer!
T- The flavors here follow the aromas somewhat, with spicy malt, that moves into dried and overripe orchard fruits.....think peppercorn/nutmeg/clove that transforms to into ripe apple flesh, almost to the point of rot sugars but not quite....there are some caramel notes, burnt toffee, airy bacterial funk and a finish that is tart, yet sweet like candy sugars....it's a combination of quenching and lingering....strange to explain, but its tasty!
M/O- The mouthfeel is relatively clean and crisp due to the carbonation, yet feels more like a medium bodied ale....the alcohol is noticed, but isn't offensive at all....there is a cloying feel feel on the palate but I don't mind at all. If this was early in an evening I'd definitely have a couple pints of this....its flavorful, full, and has spirit, but at the end of a long day, while I am really enjoying it, this isn't a good one to have more than one of. I fully recommend this and would have again in the future!

650 ml bottle served fairly cold into a pint glass. Purchased this new beer for about $6.50 CDN from LCBO.
Appearance - pale and very clear yellowy golden color. Surprisingly small amount of head, less than half a finger, with minimal retention. Some lively bubbles, but no lacing. Looks more like a pilsner than most tripels I've ever seen.
Smell - Belgian like funky yeast, fruity and spicy, but with a vinous aroma with earthy grapes. A bit champagne like. Smell from the bottle was that of a skunked beer strangely.
Taste - a bit of the funky Belgian yeast like flavor, a pinch of lemon and other citrus with a bunch of grape like flavours reminiscent of champagne. Finishes with sweet candied sugar.
Mouthfeel - a bit flat compared with some many of the other crazily carbonated tripels. Moderately dry finish, but body is a bit flat.
Overall - it's well crafted and the thought process was certainly there but the flatter body and lack of big powdery flavours or a certain spiciness keeps this a bit on the tame side. Certainly worth a shot, but given the other great offerings from this brewery I was expecting a bit more.

As usual, only a Belgian beer can match the strength of a Belgian beer - everything else is an imitation. No different with Blitzen. It tastes more carbonated than it should (even though it really isn't, which may sound confusing, but it needs to be tasted to be understood) and it certainly doesn't have the body of a Belgian Tripel.
Having said that, this is not a bad beer. Drink it for its own merit and not for its attempted copy.
