It pours near black with a thick tan head. Aromas of vanilla and oak give way to robust flavours of bourbon and chocolate. The beer is a very special release, perfect for rainy days or for cellaring away for further maturing.

Steamworks Brewpub 'Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout' @ 10.0% , served from a 650 ml bottle purchased for $15
A-pour is a dark cola brown from the bottle to a black in the glass with a medium size tan head leaving a fine spotty lace along the snifter
S-hints of aged Tennessee bourbon
T-bit of a kick to start , keeps getting bigger tasting , smokey swallow
MF-decent carbonation , big full body
Ov-possible good imperial stout
