Look: Hazy straw color. Poured to a head of fine bubbles that dropped back to a thin skiff over less than half the glass in a minute. No lacing left on the glass. Very active fine bubbles rising from the bottom of the glass.
Smell: Light citrus with an overtone of funk. Swirling the glass boosted the funk, some fresh bread yeast, and citrus (lime) peel. There is also some toast.
Taste: Tart, but with some sweetness. The bread/toast scents show up as tasting like a multi-grain bread (not Wonderbread), making a citrus sandwich. The aftertaste is pure citrus.
Feel: Bursts into a creamy foam that slowly becomes coarse. Creates the fine foam even near the end of the glass when there aren't many bubbles left.
Overall: Very pleasant beer. The creaminess of the foam makes the beer feel thicker than it really is. Yuzu is not very common in these parts, so the citrus flavor is hard to place. It is closest to lime. This is like a heavy weight radler.
