This was a nice surprise from the boys at Steamworks as it didn't have the usual signature yeast strain used in previous Belgian style beers. The beer was a tawny brown with little head. The nose was old fruit and yeast. This beer was very drinkable with little alcohol heat. The finish was complex and slightly dried out. Nice Dubbel though I know this was from one of the last kegs and the aging did it wonders

A - Served a muddy brown. Full glass didn't allow for a large head, but some foam on top.
S - Very fruity - notes of apples, pears, lychees and peaches.
T - Very sweet. Lots of fruity character and characteristic spiciness, but lacks a balancing hop.
M - OK. Kind of medium-heavy.
D - A little unbalanced.
